The Roleplay Server Package adds owner-configurable mechanics and moderator commands for organized private-server scenes. It can change team limits, damage, arrests, towing, missions, and other world rules. Most importantly, maintained and first-party documentation warns that player data is not saved while roleplay package features are active; joining players should see that warning.
Activate with a session plan
The owner purchases the package for a specific private server and enables its features through the admin application’s package area. Before activation, tell players that the session is for roleplay rather than progression, define moderators, and document which settings will change.
Some package states may require a server shutdown before they can be fully disabled. Read the current confirmation screen. Do not experiment on a populated server with no recovery plan.
Feature index
V3.16 added a roadblock toggle and item commands for roleplay moderators according to the developer update thread. Use live package settings and help to confirm current availability.
Command families
Player
Health, respawn, arrest, release, wanted
Target carefully, use agreed scene values, and keep a moderator log for corrections.
Vehicle
Repair, refuel, and health
Confirm the selected player and vehicle. Use commands to support a scene, not to disrupt ordinary driving.
World
Missions, weather, and items
Start only the intended event, announce changes, and stop test missions when complete.
Open the private server commands guide for console access and safe target selection. Current autocomplete is the authority for syntax.
Build a fair roleplay session
Publish a short scene brief, allowed teams, damage and arrest rules, vehicle rules, communication expectations, and moderator contacts. Require consent for scenes that remove control from another player. Provide a clear way to stop or reset a scene.
Keep personal data out of applications and moderation notes. Never request Roblox credentials, cookies, authentication codes, or payment information. Server invite codes should be shared only with the intended audience.
Data and progression warning
Assume normal progression will not save while the roleplay package is active unless the live game explicitly states otherwise. Do not promise money, job experience, vehicles, or robbery results from the session. The package is for controlled scenes, not farming.
The maintained Private Servers page, Admin Application page, and developer update thread support these features. Current package panels and warnings take priority.
Example event preparation
For a traffic incident, assign dispatch, police, fire or HARS, civilian participants, and one moderator. Decide whether ordinary traffic violations, roadblocks, damage, arrests, and towing should be enabled. Start only the required mission and give every participant a clear end condition.
For a criminal scene, define whether wanted level is set through normal play or a command, whether arrest requires consent, where respawn or release occurs, and which vehicles may be repaired. Avoid changing health, wanted state, or inventory without the player’s knowledge.
Moderator handoff
Keep a written list of active settings and scene commands. When moderators change shifts, state which missions are running, which players are participating, and which settings must be restored. Use audit logs where appropriate, but protect external integrations and personal information.
End-of-session cleanup
Stop missions, release or restore affected players through supported controls, return weather and server access to the planned state, and save any building work separately. Remind players that roleplay-session progress may not save. If the package state requires shutdown to reset, announce it and allow players to finish their scene before the owner closes the server.
