Job locations are reliable map anchors because each headquarters connects a team, vehicles, equipment, and shift controls. Use the live map label and current entrance instead of an old coordinate. Update V3.16 introduced a new police station, so pre-update routes may lead to an obsolete layout.
Headquarters index
Navigate from fixed anchors
Open the current map and select or remember the relevant job label. Follow normal roads and use the building’s signs, garage bays, or fleet as confirmation. If the marker ends on the wrong side of a large site, circle through the road network rather than trying to cross walls.
Once there, find the shift NPC, terminal, or team control used by the current interface. Entering a building is not always the same as starting the job.
Start the shift in order
1. Team
Activate the job
Use the current headquarters prompt and confirm the correct team or branch appears in the HUD.
2. Equipment
Read the assignment
Select tools and a vehicle that match the first call or route rather than taking everything.
3. Exit
Leave through the intended route
Garage and depot exits are designed for job vehicles; avoid shortcuts through scenery.
When a location has changed
Check Updates for a recent map or station change. Look for the new map marker and building identity. A creator video can still explain the job loop while its drive to the old headquarters is obsolete.
If no shift control appears, let the interface load, verify the team is available, and rejoin once. Do not create a permanent location claim from a partially loaded server.
Route practice
Drive from each headquarters to one nearby landmark and back. This teaches safe return paths and improves incident response. Learn the police station, fire station, HARS garage, bus depot, and truck area one at a time rather than trying to memorize the full city in one session.
The maintained Locations reference and Jobs reference support the headquarters categories. The live map, entrances, and prompts control the current route.
Headquarters arrival checklist
Confirm the building through its map label, signage, fleet, or function. Park outside vehicle spawn and garage lanes. Enter through the supported door or job area, open the shift control, and verify that the HUD changes to the intended team. Only then select equipment or a vehicle.
If a route ends at a wall, circle the block and look for road-facing access. Large sites often separate player entrances, equipment areas, and vehicle exits. Do not assume the nearest wall to the map marker is the intended entrance.
Learn routes between services
Practice the path from Police to the prison or detention endpoint shown by the current job, from Fire to a hydrant-rich city area, from HARS to a major road, from Bus to the first route marker, and from Truck to a wide road. These pairs make the headquarters useful during actual tasks, not just easy to locate.
Record turns using fixed roads and buildings. Weather, time, graphics quality, and crowded servers can make decorative landmarks hard to see.
Version-change response
When a station is rebuilt, update the entrance, equipment route, garage exit, and return path separately. Keep a dated note until each part is verified. If the job NPC or terminal moved inside the same building, the headquarters can remain the correct map anchor while the last steps change.
For a missing prompt, confirm team availability and account access, wait for the interface, and test one fresh server. Do not create an alternate page or coordinate until the current location is truly disproven.
