Firefighter equipment is selected by the incident. A visible fire suggests a hose workflow; an oil spill, blocked route, or rescue prompt can require a different tool. Read the live call and inspect the apparatus before leaving the station.
Equipment index
Hose setup
Choose apparatus that supports the live fire call. Locate the hose and required water connection, connect in the order shown by the game, and extend the line without trapping it behind vehicles. Aim at the marked fire area and watch objective progress.
If water does not flow, trace the connection from source to hose and verify the equipped item. Repeatedly clicking the fire does not fix an incomplete setup.
Spill and obstacle response
Oil spill
Sandbag workflow
Protect traffic space, equip the current spill tool, and apply it to the marked hazard until the game confirms clearance.
Road obstruction
Saw workflow
Keep players clear, use the supported saw on the objective object, and wait for the next prompt.
Rescue
Tool-to-marker workflow
Follow the call text and exact marker; do not infer that every rescue uses the same tool.
Apparatus and access
Not every fire vehicle carries every item. Job experience or current branches may control access. Inspect the apparatus before departing and use the emergency vehicles guide to match vehicle capability to the call.
Complete and verify
Watch for every marked hazard to clear, then wait for the completion message and reward. If the scene looks complete but the job remains active, re-read the objective, inspect the exact marker, and verify that the correct player interaction registered.
Do not invent tool range, application time, water capacity, or unlock values. These can change and may not be exposed. Record current source, purpose, target, and check date instead.
The Fire Department guide covers the full response. The maintained Fire Department reference supports hose, hydrant, sandbag, and saw context; use live prompts for current equipment details.
Apparatus inventory check
Before responding, open or inspect the current apparatus equipment and match it to the call text. Record which vehicle supplied the tool. If the required item is absent, choose another available apparatus rather than arriving and hoping the scene provides it.
Keep the departure area clear while testing equipment selection. Return or stow unused tools according to the current interface so another task is not started with the wrong item active.
Tool-specific troubleshooting
For a hose, trace the water source, connection, line, equipped nozzle, and fire marker. For a spill, verify the marked hazard and the current sandbag or absorbent interaction point. For a saw, verify that the object is the live obstruction target rather than ordinary scenery. For a rescue tool, re-read the call and follow the next marker after each completed step.
If progress belongs to another responder, coordinate rather than competing for the same object. Wait for the team completion message before leaving.
Equipment evidence record
Save the item name, apparatus source, incident type, target, visible progress, result, job access, server, and date. Leave water capacity, range, application duration, durability, and unlock level unknown unless the live game supports those fields. After an update, recheck the apparatus inventory and one representative call for each tool category.
Keep other responders’ access clear while testing. A correct tool used from a blocked or disconnected position can still fail, so record scene setup with the item result.
Wait for the live completion message before returning the tool.
