Emergency Hamburg private servers provide owner settings, moderator tools, commands, access rules, and optional packages for building or structured roleplay. Public servers and private servers do not share every permission or progression condition. Read the current admin application before changing a live community server.

Private server roles

RoleTypical responsibilityCheck before action
OwnerAccess, moderators, packages, group connections, server settings, saves, shutdownCurrent admin application and package ownership for this server.
ModeratorApproved commands, moderation, scenes, and package tools granted by the ownerThe live permission set; moderators have less control than owners.
PlayerFollow server rules, respect scene consent, and understand save behaviorAccess restrictions, voice or language settings, and roleplay-package warnings.

Only owners and authorized moderators should use admin commands. A command that targets @all, changes weather, starts a mission, or moves players can disrupt every active scene.

Set up access and moderation

Use the admin application to define public or restricted access, moderators, bans, language, and any current voice or group requirements. V3.16 changed group connections to use roles rather than a minimum rank; existing owners were told to review those connections after the update.

Give moderator permissions to people you trust and document which changes require owner approval. Use audit logging if the current package and external integration are appropriate for the community, and protect any webhook credentials.

Packages belong to one server

The maintained private-server reference states that packages are purchased per server and work on the server where they were bought. The current purchase panel decides exact price and terms. Do not assume a package follows an account into every private server.

Building and roleplay packages change different parts of the experience. Building adds placeable environment tools. Roleplay adds scene-control features and commands. Admin vehicles and webhook logging are separate package categories in the current maintained reference.

Progression and save warnings

Roleplay-package activation can disable saving of player data in that server; the game shows a warning to joining players. Treat that as a hard boundary: use the session for scenes, not normal progression. Private-server earnings and robbery availability can also differ from public servers. Read the current server interface instead of relying on old percentages or cooldown lists.

Safe owner workflow

Test commands on yourself or a small closed group. Use help to read current syntax. Save building work before major changes. Announce package toggles and scene-wide settings. Keep a recovery plan for mistaken moderation or destructive building actions.

Never expose private server invite codes, webhook URLs, account credentials, cookies, or authentication codes in a public guide. The maintained Private Servers reference and Admin Application reference support this structure; live controls take priority.

Launch checklist for an owner

Set the server name, description, language, and access mode. Review whether voice chat or a Roblox group is required. Add only trusted moderators and test their actual permission level. Open help, verify core commands, and decide which settings need owner-only approval. If the server will be listed publicly, publish clear rules and a moderation contact before opening it.

For an event, write the start time, scene goal, allowed teams, vehicle rules, package state, building version, and end condition. Tell players whether data will save. Keep a clean restart path in case a package toggle, imported build, or mission creates an unusable state.

Moderation and audit routine

Use the admin application rather than improvised commands when a structured control exists. Record bans, moderator changes, package changes, server access changes, and shutdown decisions. If webhook logging is enabled, protect the webhook as a secret and restrict the receiving channel; never place it in a guide or public chat.

Moderators should test new commands on themselves, target exact players, and avoid selectors such as @all unless the event plan requires them. Owners should periodically review moderators and group connections, especially after V3.16 changed group-role configuration.

Joining-player checklist

Read the server name, tags, description, rules, language, and package icons. Confirm whether the scene expects roleplay and whether voice is required. When the Roleplay Package warning says progress will not save, believe the current game and avoid using the session for money or job progression.

Leave a server that requests credentials, external downloads, exploit software, payment outside Roblox, or personal information. A private-server code grants access to a game session; it should not require control of an account.

Version maintenance

After each update, recheck command help, admin-app labels, group connections, package settings, building counter, and save warning. Preserve the date of older documentation when it conflicts. For example, a pre-V3.16 building page can still explain saves while its object limit is stale. Update the affected field rather than discarding all useful instructions.

Finally, verify the join experience from a normal player role: server listing, access message, rules, package warning, and moderator contact should all be understandable before a scene begins. Record that final check with the server configuration date.
